Description of Problem: Email Upgrade - Office 365 Transition

Update/Resolution: The Password synchronization issue with Office 365 has been resolved.  All passwords changed in iAM will now be change Office 365 email accounts as well.
User Impact:

On Friday, July 19th, ITD will begin an upgrade to our campus email system to transition from Microsoft Live@edu to Microsoft Office 365.  Microsoft is mandating this change for all schools using Live@edu for their email systems.  This upgrade includes two separate processes; one now and another to be scheduled later in the fall.  ITD will notify campus when Microsoft schedules the second upgrade.

During the initial upgrade, all email services will be available.  However, users will not be able to access iAM (password and account changes) or Group Management (group email changes) while Microsoft makes changes.  This portion of the upgrade process may run for several days.
