Profile

Mandy Taylor joined the School of Health Studies as an Instructor for the Health Sciences concentration in Spring 2019. She holds a BSEd in Health and Sport Sciences and a MS in Health and Sport Sciences, Health Promotion, both from the University of Memphis. As a former public health educator for the Tennessee Department of Health, she brings experience with program management and implementation and community health education, as well as assisting community partners with finding appropriate grants to enhance overall health outcomes of the counties that she served. Ms. Taylor continues to serve on the Henderson County Health Council. Currently, she holds the role of chairperson of the Substance Misuse subcommittee. Her commitment to personal and professional excellence is exhibited by her recognition as a Certified Health Education Specialist by the NCHEC. Ms. Taylor is just as committed to helping students learn and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in the health field.
