Profile
Jessicia Meeks joined the College of Health Sciences in Spring 2024, bringing over a decade of experience in healthcare. Throughout her career, she has served as a medical assistant, health center manager and instructor for medical assistant and medical office assistant students. Her time at Remington College ignited a passion for fostering a captivating classroom environment for aspiring healthcare professionals.
With experience in pediatrics, cardiology, urgent care, primary care, and behavioral health, Jessicia has cultivated a broad skill set that enhances both patient care and healthcare education.
She also currently serves as a community counselor and mental health tech at Lakeside Behavioral Health Hospital. Her role is essential in tracking and monitoring the progress of patients with various conditions, including but not limited to depression, psychosis and addiction.
Beyond her clinical and educational roles, Jessicia is dedicated to empowering the next generation of healthcare workers, fostering confidence, competence, and excellence in their professional journeys.
