Jessica McClure is the Virtual Instruction Librarian at the University of Memphis. She works with faculty and staff to create instructional materials and enhance the University Libraries’ online instructional presence. She meets with students and faculty online and in the classroom setting to help them be successful in their courses. She assists students, faculty, and staff at the Reference Assistance Desk and Chat. She works as the Chair and ongoing member of various University of Memphis committees focusing on online instruction and accessibility. She is an advocate for intellectual freedom and served as Chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committeeof the Tennessee Library Association for four years. She is a member of UM3D, working closely with instructional designers and trainers to create information literacy instructional materials in the learning management system.
