Profile

Cheri Kilmurray is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the College of Health Sciences. She completed her Ph.D. in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Memphis School of Public Health, following an M.P.H. from Boston University. Cheri’s professional experience includes managing health education and promotion programs for a county health department and providing grant consultation to nonprofits for health-related initiatives. Her interests focus on community health promotion, and she currently collaborates with Youth Villages and Lifedoc Health on research and evaluation initiatives. Cheri is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has been teaching at the college level in both traditional and online modalities for over 20 years. She has also contributed to her community by serving on leadership boards and commissions, including the Collierville School Health Advisory Council and the Collierville Planning Commission.
