Profile

Cheri Kilmurray is an Assistant Professor of Teaching in the Health Sciences unit of the College of Health Sciences. She completed her Ph.D. in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Memphis School of Public Health. Prior to this, she earned an M.P.H. from Boston University. Her professional experience includes managing health education / promotion programs for a county health department and providing grant consultation to non-profits for health-related programs. Her research interests include health promotion and tobacco control. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist and has been teaching on the college level in both traditional and online modalities for the past 20 years. She has served on community leadership boards and commissions including the Collierville School Health Advisory Council and the Collierville Planning Commission.
