Profile

Ms. Egan has always had interests in the sciences, history, anthropology, culture and food as well as designing and developing education material for all levels of learners. As a high-schooler, she studied for tests by teaching an imagined audience in the confines of her parent's study. As a former medical technology student, who along with her fellow students, was made to feel a bother to the preceptors, Ms Egan vowed if she became a preceptor to view the opportunity as helping raise the next generation of the field and helping shape them into being the best they could be. Being a teacher and clinical coordinator to students in the masters program/dietetic internship combines experiences which have shaped her with perfectly with her many of her interests.
