Profile

I am thrilled to have joined the School of Health Studies in the fall of 2015 as Health Promotion Instructor and Social Media Marketing Manager. My background includes clinical, fitness, and corporate wellness experience. As a Care Manager at Harbor of Health Medical Clinic and Fitness Center, I was exposed to cutting edge patient care and holistic preventative health care techniques. As a Program Manager for HealthSource-Solutions at Smith&Nephew, I was responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management and growth of the employee fitness program. In this role I refined my health promotion skills of health education, employee engagement, community outreach, strategic program planning, design, implementation/evaluation and social media marketing, as well as establishing and supervising an internship program. As a Health Sciences instructor my focus is on equipping students with the practical skills needed for their future success in their chosen path in the field of health sciences .
