"Professor George Anastassiou of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of University of Memphis, during summer 2016 had the following outreach activities: 1)on June 2, 2016, he lectured at the University of Athens, Greece, about "Self-Adjoint Operator Korovkin Theory", 2) he participated in an international conference in Bulgaria, Sozopol, June 11-17, 2016, titled "Constructive Theory of Functions, 2016", and he presented "Self-Adjoint Operator Approximation Theory by Positive Linear Operators", 3) on July 21, 2016, invited by Greek Mathematical Society, he lectured in front of gifted high school students from all over Greece, in the summer school in Leptokaria, north Greece, the title of his talk was "A discussion about Ostrowski's inequality".

"Professor George Anastassiou of the Department of Mathematical Sciences of University of Memphis, during November 26-December 8, 2016 visited Bangkok, Thailand at the invitation of the Department of Mathematics, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. He lectured there for over four hours about Operator Approximation Theory and Inequalities and he had research collaboration with two professors there."

TALKS 2017: Professor George Anastassiou of University of Memphis, Department of Mathematical Sciences participated in the annual meeting of American Mathematical Society held in Atlanta, GA, during 3-7 January, 2017. He presented three papers, two of them were invited. All of them were on the topic of "Operator Inequalities", on its various aspects.
