University of Memphis "Carpool Information" channel
The "Carpool Information" channel is available to all members of the University community via the Spectrum portal. Log into the Spectrum portal at the following URL: https://spectrum.memphis.edu

The Spectrum portal is easily accessible via Spectrum hotlinks (for example, the graphic logo at the top of this page). A Spectrum hotlink can found at the bottom of the left navigation area the main University website pages: http://www.memphis.edu


To move the "Carpool Information" channel to a different location on the portal screen:
  1. Click the Content/Layout link (upper left under the Spectrum graphic)
  2. Select the tab page that is to be modified. By default, the "Home" tab channels are displayed.
  3. Use the channel relocation arrows to move any channel's location up, down, left or right.
  4. When the channel is in the desired position, click the "Back to ... tab" (upper left under the Spectrum graphic). The new channel layout will be displayed immediately.
To add the channel to a different location on the portal screen:
  1. Click the Content/Layout link (upper left under the Spectrum graphic)
  2. Select the tab page that the channel is to be added to by clicking the tab name. By default, the "Home" tab is selected.
  3. Click one of the "Add Channel" buttons on the page.
  4. Select a category. The "Carpool Information" channel can be found under the "Tools/Resources" category, or by using the "Select All" category. After highlighting the "Carpool Information" channel, click the [Add Channel] button.
  5. Click the "Back to ... tab" (upper left under the Spectrum graphic). The new channel layout will be displayed immediately.
To remove a channel from your portal screen:
  1. Click on the delete (X) button at the top-right of the "Carpool Information" channel box.
  2. An alert box will appear ("Are you sure you want to remove this channel?"). Click the [OK] button to remove the channel.
