Description: The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:
1. International Building- 1-passenger elevator modernization.
2. Communications and Fine Arts (CFA)-1-passenger elevator modernization.
3. Theater Building-1-freight elevator modernization.
4. The work includes but is not limited to the following:
a) Modernize existing elevators including new hydraulic pump units, controllers (3-total).
b) Replacement of existing jack in Theater (Freight).
c) Construct a new elevator equipment room in the Theater Building.
d) Provide new cab finishes in International Building, Smith Chemistry, Mitchel Hall and Herzog.
e) Replace existing lighting in Theater passenger elevator.
f) Upgrade existing electrical to accommodate new elevator equipment.
g) Add or modify existing fire alarm devices to accommodate new elevator equipment.
h) Add new mini-split air-conditioning units to existing elevator equipment rooms.
