Internet Native Banner (INB) opens in a separate browser window.

Banner INB is intended to be a tool used more by the University's administrative offices and "power users".  Most people will access Self Service Banner.

Single sign-on (SSO) access to FERPA tutorial and information about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Provides information for Principal Investigators (PIs) about grants that are due to end in a specified number of days.    

Principle Investigators can change the user defined number of days before a grant expires that the notification should appear.  Prior to the expiration time, the message 'No Grants are scheduled to end in selected time.' will be displayed.  (Note: Provided by Sungard as part of the Luminis Channels for Banner set.) 

Contact information for the Financial Aid Office with links to their web site and important dates.  This channel is available under the Student category.

First Science website contains science articles on various categories.  This channel is available under the News/Academic category.

Group Announcements can be sent to all individuals in a certain U of M role (i.e. faculty, student, employee) or group.

(Note: Group Announcements is a renaming of the Personal Announcements channel supplied by the portal vendor).

This enhanced channel provides the ability for layout owners to place a Bookmarks channel on a layout and populate it with links that all users should see. When placed on a layout, the functions for adding and editing links are only available to the layout owner. These functions are removed for users who are members of the layout. Group Bookmarks also supports multiple instances so that users can place their own bookmark channels on different tabs and maintain separate sets of links within each. Finally, Group Bookmarks also provides an administrative channel, DefaultsEditor, that allows institutions to pre-populate links that all users should see by default when they first subscribe to an instance of the Group Bookmarks channel.
