Profile
In 1980, I received my Bachelor of Science (major in physical education and a minor in health education) and in 1982 received my Masters in Education (elementary education) from the University of Cincinnati. I have taught as a classroom teacher and physcial education teacher and have coached softball, basketball, volleyball and soccer.I joined the University of Memphis, College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, department of Health, Sport, and Sciences; Physical Education Teacher Education in 2009. At the University of Memphis, I am a clinical instructor for PETE and PHED. My classes include: Beginning and Intermediate Tennis, Teaching Physical Education/Health/K-Middle, and Instructional Strategies in Physical Education. I also have been the university supervisor for student teachers in physical education. Currently, I am the university supervisor for interns in PETE and EXSS.
