Profile
I'm a linguist. I started with 15 years of EFL/ESL (Turkey, Japan, England, USA) and now I seem to be more of a cognitive computational linguist.
I love writing software that analyzes text. This is my passion and I love having others use my software for their own research.
I have published extensively in the fields of ESL, linguistics, AI, and cognitive psychology. I am currently co-authoring a book on a computational tool called Coh-Metrix (Cambridge University Press) and co-editing another one called Applied Natural Language Processing.
(oh, and I just love cats and dogs and wine)
