Duane M. Giannangelo is a professor in the Elementary Education program in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. He earned a B.S. in elementary education from Edinboro State College (Edinboro University of Pennsylvania), an M.Ed. in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa. Dr. Giannangelo is a former elementary school teacher with experience teaching all grade levels in elementary schools. He has published over 30 journal articles and has externally funded projects in excess of $10,000,000.00.
